Instructions

1 - Allow calendar access (Only required once)

The first time you open the app you will be asked to allow access to the calendar. This will allow the app to save the events that you choose, to the calendar app on your device.
This only has to be done once, on the first time that you launch the app.

2 - Start the timer

Press the "Start" button at the bottom of the screen. This will start the timer counting and log the time that you pressed the button, to be used later when the event is saved.

3 - Enter event details

Enter the name of the event in the "Event Title" text field. You can also add more detailed notes, URLs and other information in to the "Event Notes" section. This information will be added to the calendar event once it is saved to your calendar.

4 - Choose your calendar (Optional)

You can choose the calendar that you would like to save the event to using the "Calendar Picker" below the event notes text area. Pressing on the calendar picker will list all of your calendars on the current device, sorted alphabetically to make it easier to find the correct calendar. If you have multiple calendar accounts (e.g. iCloud, Google, Outlook), your calendars will be grouped in to the accounts that they belong to.
Press on the calendar that you would like this event to be saved to. If you do not select a calendar, Save to Calendar will use the default calendar that you have chosen in your device settings.

5 - Stop the timer

Once you have completed the event that you are recording, press the "Stop" button. This will stop the timer from counting and record the time that the event was stopped. You can continue to edit the event title and notes once the timer has been stopped.

6 - Save the event

After the timer has been stopped, the app will show two new buttons, "Add to Calendar" and "Reset".
Pressing the "Add to Calendar" button will save the event, including the title, notes, start time, end time and the automatically calculated duration, to the calendar that you have chosen.
All events are saved on device and are not stored anywhere else in the app.
If your calendar is linked to an internet service (such as iCloud), these events may then be synced to your other devices with this account.

7 - Reset the timer

Once you have saved the event, you will see a confirmation of this when the button changes to "Added to Calendar". You can then press the "Reset" button to clear the current data in the app and start recording a new event.
If you no longer wish to save an event that you are recording to the calendar, you can press the "Reset" button before adding to the calendar to discard the event.
