Bulk Export to a PDF or CSV File

You can export the complete list of expense items to a PDF or CSV file which can be shared or saved to your device.

Instructions

1 - Choose your date range

Tap on the date at the top of the list view to open the date picker. Choose from one of the quick options or choose a custom date range. Tap 'Confirm' to update the items list with all of the items from the selected date range.

2 - Open the menu

Tap on the '•••' menu button in the bottom left of the view. This will open the menu. Select the 'Export List' menu item. You will then see the option to export the list to a PDF or CSV file.

3 - Export to CSV file (Option 1)

Tap on the 'CSV File' button to export the data to a CSV file. This will create a file that includes every item from the current list view and include each item's Title, Amount, Date and any tags. The file will automatically be named with your selected date range.
Once the file generation is complete, you will be presented with the share sheet where you can send your file by message, email, etc or you can save the file to your device.

4 - Export to PDF file (Option 2)

Tap on the 'PDF File' button to export the data to a PDF file. This will create a file that includes every item from the current list view and include each item's Title, Amount, Date and any tags. The file will automatically be named with your selected date range and include the date range at the top of the PDF file.
Once the file generation is complete, you will be presented with the share sheet where you can send your file by message, email, etc or you can save the file to your device.

5 - Filter by Tag & Search (Optional)

You can use the search and tags to filter the list view to include specific items. If you choose the bulk export option while you have a search or tag filters active, the exported file will only include the items in the list that match the tags and search terms, within the selected date range. You can remove searches and tag filters before exporting to include the full list of items for the selected date range.
